Since March 17, 1905, Indiana Furniture has been a valued local employer and provider of high quality office furniture. According to the Jasper Courier reporting on the then new business, it was to be “a novelty factory to manufacture wood articles of use and adornment…” Since then, they have not only accomplished this but surpassed it.
Indiana Furniture would like to congratulate our Top 5 Dealer Partners: Continental Office Environments in Columbus, OH; RCF Group in West Chest, OH; Capitol Business Interiors in Charleston, WV; Executive Office Furniture in Tallahassee, FL; and Price Modern in Baltimore, MD. We look forward to collaborating in the years ahead and appreciate the dedication to Indiana Furniture product!
Indiana Furniture is pleased to have Jonathan Pugh representing them in Chicago, IL. The two partners united to create a developing ensemble of a good manufacturer with a well-established and respected sales representative, to serve the Chicago market.
NeoCon East 2014 was full of refreshing color schemes and new product introductions. Isla Lounge and Triple Play Seating made their way to Indiana Furniture’s showroom, displaying the functionality and diversity of modern seating. Gesso showed off its capabilities of not only being a contemporary Casegood line, but also as a hospitality area for mingling and serving up refreshing beverages! Everything came together in an inviting conference setting suitable for entertaining clients on high pressure corporate negotiations.
Each year we look forward to meeting up with old and new friends in Chicago. This year was not an exception! We took the opportunity to offer a cool retreat from the hustle and bustle of the show by highlighting lots of new seating in a cafe setting. With a Dad’s Root Beer float in hand, guests lounged on the new Isla Lounge seating or perched comfortably on the new Three Story Seating.
Isla Lounge is the new modular seating line in development at Indiana Furniture. With a simple offering of one, two, or three seat sections, an easy connection mechanism, and lots of options for power and arm caps, Isla Lounge will be the go-to for comfort and appeal in the open seating market. Available Fall of 2014.
Three Story Seating was the surprise guest who stole the show! And, once again, simple design trumps everything else. Three Story Seating lets people choose how they want to work by multi-tasking from lounge height, to sitting height, and all the way up to counter height.
Not to be over-shadowed by soft seating with eye catching fabrics, the Canvas, Gesso, and Revolutions casegoods products were a hit as well. Showing a mix of veneers with metal accents, today’s office space is stylishly functional.
Indiana Furniture offers a wide variety of products that integrate with each other to offer stunning environments at every price point. The theme of this NeoCon East was to Mix & Mingle products such as Gesso with Canvas, Revolutions with Resilience, or Elevate with Revolutions. Talk to us about how we can help find the look you want at a price you won’t believe!
Creativity begins with you – and we can help! There is no need to work in stodgy environments anymore. New product introductions, such as Felix and Oscar, combined with Carreta, Canvas and Gesso lead the way to environments that will inspire.
Indiana Furniture reluctantly accepted the resignation of long time Customer Service Representative, Marie Weisman this week.
“Marie Weisman has decided she has done her part to make the furniture industry a better place, and everyone she has dealt with throughout her career would agree. Although we are very happy for her and appreciate all she has done over the years, we can’t help but be sad that she won’t be here to be the cornerstone of a great Customer Service department. Her legacy will remain, and her influence to our company’s customer focus will forever be evident. If you have ever had the opportunity to work with Marie, you realize her extraordinary attributes as a customer service person are what all others should be compared. She would never see herself as such a wonderful part of the team, but her humility is certainly one of her abundant endearing qualities,” stated Mike Blessinger, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Marie has been with Indiana Furniture 26 years, and there are many stories about how much customers love her and how much they revere her service – from the dealer that wouldn’t let anyone else process his order until she returned from vacation the following week to the dealer that pulled alongside the company van on a busy interstate in North Carolina just to motion to the driver and ask if he knew Marie! Those stories are legendary among her co-workers.
